Introduction of Robonaut 2

On 4 February 2010, NASA and General Motors introduced the humanoid Robonaut 2 (R2), a faster and more dexterous successor to the original Robonaut. It had a head, torso, two arms and hands and was designed to work safely alongside people in space and in factories. [1][2]
